HMG Print Run
One master in, every output out. Premiere renders your timeline once; HMG Print Run makes every deliverable from that master and checks each file before you send it.
Four exports, four renders
Premiere renders your timeline every time you export. Ask for a YouTube file, a vertical, a square and a review copy, and it renders the whole timeline, effects and all, four times over. HMG Print Run changes the order.
One master
Premiere exports one ProRes master. That's the only render of your effects, and it's quick: ProRes is light to encode, and smart rendering copies frames that haven't changed.
One pass
HMG Print Run decodes the master once and splits it into every output in a single pass. H.264 goes through the Mac's hardware encoder. Premiere is free again as soon as the master is done.
Every file checked
Codec, size, frame rate, duration, bitrate, colour tags, start timecode, audio channels, loudness, true peak and file name, plus a flash pre-check. A fix that doesn't touch the picture sits right next to the failed check.
From one master
- YouTube at 1080p, and 4K when the master has the pixels.
- Vertical 9:16, 4:5 and square, either cropped from the master with a left / centre / right position, or designed in the Layout step with bands, titles, logos and stills.
- A review copy with burned-in source timecode.
- ProRes 4444 with alpha, and ProRes Proxy.
- Thumbnails per aspect, from a frame you pick.
Names, layouts, re-runs
- Naming templates: every output comes out named to your convention, client, project, aspect and version included.
- Safe zones from the Safe Zone Kit inside the Layout step, with anything that crosses a platform's UI flagged.
- FINAL V2 re-runs with one click: the layouts and names are saved with the job.
- The master is the ceiling. The app warns you before it upscales, or makes a 4444 from a lighter master.
Not released yet
HMG Print Run is in development. It will be sold on Gumroad like the other HMG Tools, with one license key per buyer.
